Yes, the debate goes on. Which car would you rather have? Ultimately the Audi is an easier car to live with, but there's something mysterious about the M3 isn't there?

I like both cars, but I would choose the Audi RS4 because it has the Quattro All wheel drive and its safer to drive at high speeds. The BMW and Audi have virtually the same performance on the dry track. But, on wet, icy, rocky, dirt, or sandy tracks, the Audi would always win. Both cars are limited to 155mph, but without the limiter, the Audi has a higher top speed than the M3 and the Audi is about 200 ibs. lighter.

well I would take the Rs4 over the M3. I wouldn't consider 250 RPM far more and the Audi's 8250 rpm red line has at least 90 per cent of the engine's 430nm (peak at 5500rpm )of torque consistently available between 2250 and 7600 rpm, maybe the BMW will be able to attain a few more miles per hour at the top end but that's not really a practical point as most owners will never see it. but having the constant torque available is an advantage that is everyday usable. The BMW's 400nm peak is at 3900 rpm. as for the static AWD system i do believe that it is an asymmetric/dynamic torque distribution and a self-locking Torsen centre differential that can put as much as 70% of the torque to the rear wheels and the Audi is lighter by 11lbs. I think Audi is as much a life style as BMW is not to take away from BMW i think they make alot of great cars i just think that Audi is equally as good. when it comes to sports sedans i think BMW and Audi sit at the top (even over mercedeis)

M3, hands down.

they are both great choices under the hood.the only decision you need to make is in the outside with one appeals to you the most.
