You should be able to swap with the 98 model. adamprice271 10-23-2007, 05:32 PM You have to make sure that the engine codes are THE SAME. With my experience with VWs...even the GTI 337 and the GTI 20th Anniversary edition could not use the same ECU even though they were EXACTLY the same, because the engine code changed from2002 to 2003. I'm not 100% sure but I'm almost positive that it cannot be done. Check www.vwvortex.com and ask them. |
