Hello,

You may notice that I am new to this forum, I have been posting threads regarding this issue on another forum with little response so I thought I would try a new one. OK so about there weeks ago I had the battery light come on and as I was running through the tests (the alternator was not functioning properly) the car stalled, drained the battery. It began to run rough for a brief time before stalling. I replaced the alternator with a 120 Amp alternator as this is what was installed new. With the new alternator installed and the battery recharged and crank tested I started the car and it would run ,idle and rev properly for about 30 seconds to a minute and then start to stumble and stall if I touched the throttle as if it was starving for fuel. I was able to test the new alternator in the car as well as the Battery and they function as they should. The issue has gotten worse to the point that the car will not start. I car hear the fuel pump cycle on and off as it should, the fuel filter is near new. I am not getting an ECL or any trouble codes. I have been wanting to purchase a Vag Com for some time but I don't know the Vag Com would help if I don't see an ECL or any codes on the OBD. Does any one have a suggestion as to where to go next. I should also add that we don't really have an Audi in our area ( Carmel Valley Ca. on The Monterey peninsula), for a wile the dealer service was at the GMC truck dealer, I think they now want us to go to a Kia dealer???
