Hey everyone I'm new to the forum, and a complete noob regarding cars. Well, maybe not entirely, but surely regarding Audi's. So here's the question:

I can get my hands on an Audi A4 2.4L V6 (gasoline) 2003, with automatic multitronic transmission. Now I've heard a lot of bad things about multitronic, so my questions would be:

1) Is multitronic that bad? What are its major downfalls? Advantages? Does it really sound like a constant "low rev" even when accelerating rapidly? E.g. will I ever be able to make a proper V6 noise while doing a 0-100km/h sprint?

2) What are the advantages of the V6 2.4L over say a 1.8L Turbo? I mean, the turbos have better mpg, exhaust less CO2 (very important here in EU) and from what I've understood have a better residual value? So, does the V6 2.4L have ANY real life advantages?

3) Any comments regarding this particular config are very welcome!
