I'm in the very fortunate position to be able to afford one of these beauties but which. i love the R8 but its so expensive i want one but my bank manager wants me to buy the 911 - the cheapest. i thought i could go in the middle and get the XKR as it is a very classy car. i would appreciate other opinions as a mate recently described the 911 as "a tossers car" i disagree but am still unsure what to buy?

911 is around every where and been around for years
jaguar are owned by ford (so just a glorified mondeo!)
The R8 looks the business and there are not many around!
So i would say the R8 a few years ago i would have said the 911. Personally i wounldn't get either i would have a Lotus Exige if i was looking for a car to show off in.
