View Full Version : Whats this thing on my 86 Audi 5000 turbo called?

It's located on the throttle linkage, they run parallel with the intake (as opposed to perpendicular like some Audi's have) One end hooks to the actual linkage with a ball and socket connector, and the other is broken off on mine. It should be connected to a rubber "bulb" which is supposed to be enclosing a strong spring that is inside the back half of the bulb. On mine, the bulb is ripped in half and is no longer air tight. The back of the bulb's housing has a vacuum tube that leads back near the wiper motor. Also any tips on getting the long since evaporated dry fuel system primed would be appreciated.
