Default Throttle seems to be cutting out slightly

I just bought a RS4 last night (I LOVE IT BTW) 07 Black w/ 40,000 miles. As I was driving home when I got on it, it felt like the engine pulls hard at first for about 500 - 1000 rpms but then feels like it backs off slightly. It is very subtle but it almost feels like the traction control is kicking in (but it is not). Like I said it is almost imperceptible but I can feel it and I was wonder if any one else has noticed this in their car? Thanks for the help.

I can't exactly answer your question but there are plenty of nice, inexpensive tunes that'll add more power. However, they could void your warranty.. Take a look into it.. It'll probably remove that "back off" you're speaking about..
