Default 1997 A8 D2 4.2Q starts then dies

Starts up ok, then starts stumbling, if I press the go pedal it dies.

Just had the head off for maintenance. So probably I connected something wrong, or destroyed a vac line somewhere.

If anyone has a good pic of the vac junk on the back of the intake manifold/throttle body that would be cool. I've only found fuzzy ones that show much too much and have no detail

I would appreciate any information you can provide. I have a vac diagram (heck, there's one on the car) but any actual layout diagram of the rear would be helpful.

BUMP: I've doublechecked all connectors and vacuum lines. System is holding vacuum.

Does the connector on the hall sensor point up or down? Maybe that's my problem. I have it pointing up. I was not clever enough to take a photo before removal.

My car behaves like either idle control is failing, or like it's being immobilized. If I scan for an immobilizer I don't find one...
