Default BMW M5 Touring and Audi RS6 Avant?

Am I the only one who finds these two cars highly impractical/unnecessary? I mean, who the hell needs a station wagon with 580hp??? A soccer mom who likes to drift while driving her kids to school?

These models are probably more intended for the home market where one CAN drive on the A9 at 155 mph with kids, Rover, and groceries.

It is for the dad's who want Porsche's, Ferrari's, and Lamborghini's while having children at the same time.

They use the car on trips and for racing.

BMW's in general are impractical. paying more for a less reliable car. i mean technically we dont need any of that extra stuff........ but its damn fun
i personally drive a 480ish HP sedan. why CAUSE ITS FUN!

While I agree that 500 hp is completely unnecessary, if you have the dough to afford one of these why not? These wagons allow you to haul the family around during the weekdays and complete the daily duties when they're onboard but they also allow you to have some fun when one of your favorite backroads come about or you get some alone time with the car. You get the best of both worlds. Family practicality coupled with serious muscle when you feel the need to shred rubber...
